It is the first of May and I have the most beautiful irises blooming out my studio window.
This is the month that I finally move out to California. I have been packing up the house for what feels like forever. This Thursday we pack up the studio!! that should be interesting.
My husband has been out there for a month now and I can’t wait to be with him again. My sister is flying to Albuquerque on the 18th to help me with the long three day drive with my two big dogs, Ziggy and Buddy. Before that I am going to teach for a week in Mahone Bay Nova Scotia Canada. I am so looking forward to that trip. I am teaching composition and From Watercolors to Quilt. Then home for two days of packing up the last of my stuff. What a month this is!! Then to get my new studio set up and start making quilts again.
