A still life of ordinary glasses was set up and photographed for the inspiration for this piece. Each glass was represented as a different color. I enjoyed creating the reflections of the unseen glasses and the straight lines of the background that repeat throughout the piece.

This quilt was inspired from a photograph of a large pile of
sticks that I pass everyday on my walk with my dogs. A black and white
section is the central focus with a gray band representing the decaying
wood. The colors of the quilt represents the earth healing itself.
